Starting December 1, 2025, the Potala Palace will be closed every Monday for cultural relic protection and facility maintenance. (Public holidays excluded.)

🕙 Opening Hours:

• Tue–Sun (May–Oct): 09:00 – Last entry 15:40

• Tue–Sun (Nov–Apr): 09:30 – Last entry 15:20

  
  

  During closure days, the palace will undergo inspections, repairs, exhibit updates, and environmental sanitization to ensure a safer and better visiting experience.
